Sally Lewyn Kane was born in 1968 in Tucson, and raised in an environment that inspired a passion for style and cuisine that has defined her life ever since. Sally launched the restaurant The Coronet in 2014 with her partner Gregor Kretschmann. The Coronet soon became a small gem in the Tucson culinary wold. Her family’s restaurant, the Tack Room at Rancho Del Rio, boasted Arizona’s first wine cellar and was awarded the southwest’s first Mobil 5-Star rating. From the fresh quality of each and every plate, the wine or spirit in each glass, to the warmth and welcome of service, Sally is naturally obsessive about details and the creation of a complete experience.
Alex O'Neill - Executive Chef
Born in New York, Alex moved to Tucson when he was five and has made the desert his home ever since. His parents brought him into the kitchen at a young age which fueled his culinary curiosity. Alex cooked in several local restaurants before taking a break to teach elementary students. The call to the kitchen was too great however, and he returned to pursue his dreams of becoming a respected professional chef.
